I am a graduate from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fashion Design. I am currently looking for a full time position with a women's wear brand in the New York Metro area.
I was a design studio intern for Nanette Lepore during fall 2010 and again during February of 2011 for Mercedes Benz fashion week. Through this experience I learned first hand the design process and the daily procedures of a high-end women's wear brand.
Additionally, I interned at the Marie Claire fashion closet working with a large variety of designer garments and accessories and gained an invaluable experience in fashion publication and styling.
Through these very different and unique experiences I have gained the experience that makes me a highly qualified designer and an asset to any design team.
The entirety of my four piece senior collection was featured at the PINKTOBER Rock 'n Roll Fashion Show in October 2011; an event held annually by the Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia. This annual fundraiser is held to support breast cancer research and awareness.
This February 2012 I showed my first full Spring/ Summer collection under my brand name Cut & Sew at Small Boutiques Fashion Week in New York City's Garment Center. This collection is available to view on my 'work' page.
I spent 6 months working as a freelance assistant designer for the women's woven and knitwear department's at Gap inc. in New York City.
Currently, I am working as an Associate Designer/ Associate Technical Designer at OGO New York a contemporary women's-wear label based in New York City's Garment Center.
